The Royal and Cousins Rivers continue to produce good fish, but there was somewhat of a drop-off in numbers of boated fish this week due to the timing of the tides. Bigger fish continue to move into the area and Liam Ireland caught a nice 27-inch striper in the shallows of the Cousins River. Bigger fish are out there and can often be caught in the most unlikely of spots.
White bucktail jigs with soft rubber split tails or swimmers seem to be the lures of choice.
